Continuing The Mission – Veterans Serving Veterans
For many of our Associates, service did not end with their military careers-it evolved. Veterans across our organization continue their mission by serving and supporting their fellow veterans. If you are a veteran, or the family member of a veteran, and looking for purposeful work, we encourage you to explore HMR career opportunities.
CNA Training Program
HMR encourages the development of all individuals who are interested in working in healthcare. We are proud to offer our very own Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
Honor Health Career Partners (HHCP)
HMR has partnered with Honor Health Career Programs (HHCP) in South Caroline and Alabama. HHCP offers an education pathway for Certified Nursing Assistants to achieve their goal of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.
The Ed Childress Memorial Employee Assistance Fund (EAF)
Our EAF was established in 2007 to honor Talley Edward “Ed” Childress, III, and directly benefit HMR employees facing traumatic circumstances with a monetary disbursement to ease the financial stress on them and their families.
Childress, a statesman, philanthropist, and faithful servant, was a pillar in the community and worked diligently to further the kingdom of God and the mission of veterans care, service, and support that is offered through HMR Veterans Services. Since his death in 2008, Ed’s passionate and generous spirit lives on through the EAF.
